Community Manager - Woodside East

About the role

Greystar is hiring an experienced Community Manager for Woodside East Apartments, a 244-unit garden-style community in the Crossroads neighborhood of Bellevue, Washington. The manager runs the day-to-day operations of the property, manages the team, keeps the operation within budget and in compliance with company policies and housing laws.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily operations and control expenditures, including maintenance repairs, within the approved budget
• Supervise property staff, including hiring, training and performance management
• Approve resident applications, discounts and renewals, conduct apartment inspections, enforce leases and collect late fees
• Set rent rates, collect rent and fees, make bank deposits and prepare monthly financial reports
• Approve vendor invoices, reconcile work done and manage the petty cash fund
• Analyze market trends and implement marketing and leasing strategies to meet occupancy and revenue goals
• Respond to resident complaints and ensure the maintenance team meets service standards
• Meet owners, give them property updates and help manage the client/owner relationship
• For California properties only: use the California Lease File Checklist to keep lease documents complete and compliant

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate or a related field
• 4-6 years of relevant experience in property management, sales, marketing and customer service
• Previous property management experience required; fee management preferred
• Valid driver's license and all state and local licenses and certifications required

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office and property management software (Entrata, Yardi and/or OneSite)
• Financial reporting and budgeting, including fiscal analysis and rent collection
• Communication, conflict resolution and customer service
