Community Manager – South Seattle

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Community Manager to oversee the day‑to‑day operations of an assigned apartment community in South Seattle. The role combines operational leadership, financial management and resident services to ensure the property meets its performance goals.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily property operations, including budgeting, rent collection, and financial reporting.
• Approve vendor invoices, oversee petty cash, and ensure compliance with insurance and accounting procedures.
• Enforce lease terms, process applications, conduct inspections, and handle evictions and fee collections.
• Analyze market trends and implement leasing strategies to achieve occupancy and revenue targets.
• Maintain resident satisfaction by addressing complaints, service requests and ensuring timely maintenance.
• Supervise, hire, train and evaluate property staff, including maintenance specialists.
• Maintain owner relationships through regular updates, property tours and performance reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree preferred in Business Management, Real Estate or related field.
• 4‑6 years of relevant property management, sales, marketing and customer service experience.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
• Excellent communication, conflict resolution and customer service skills.
• Detail‑oriented, self‑motivated and capable of working independently or as a team leader.

Required skills

• Proficiency with property management software (Entrata, Yardi, OneSite).
• Strong skills in internet usage, word processing, spreadsheet (Excel) and database management.
• Valid driver’s license and required state/local real‑estate licenses or certifications.
