About the role
The Community Manager – Midrise is responsible for the day‑to‑day operations of an assigned multifamily property in Austin. You will lead the on‑site team, oversee financial performance, ensure compliance with housing regulations, and drive resident satisfaction.
Key responsibilities
- Provide input to the property budget by analyzing financial statements and market data.
- Achieve revenue targets by setting rent rates, collecting payments, and preparing monthly financial reports.
- Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, and coordinate with accounting and ownership.
- Control expenditures within the approved budget and manage petty cash.
- Oversee lease enforcement, including application approvals, renewals, inspections, evictions, and fee collection.
- Monitor market and economic trends and implement short‑ and long‑term leasing strategies to meet occupancy goals.
- Promote resident satisfaction and retention through effective communication and service initiatives.
Required profile
- Knowledge of Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, and Fair Credit Reporting Act regulations.
