Leasing Professional – Ascend at Pioneer Hill

About the role

The Leasing Professional will drive occupancy, revenue and resident retention for Ascend at Pioneer Hill by managing all aspects of the leasing cycle, from prospecting to move‑in and lease renewal. You will act as the primary point of contact for prospective and current residents, ensuring a seamless and satisfying leasing experience.

Key responsibilities

• Perform sales and leasing activities: greet and qualify prospects, conduct tours, show apartments, process applications, run credit and background checks, prepare lease and move‑in packages, and oversee smooth move‑ins.
• Inspect apartments before resident move‑in, confirm readiness, and coordinate any outstanding items with the maintenance team.
• Monitor market and competitor trends, develop short‑ and long‑term marketing plans, and apply community policies on concessions and specials to boost occupancy.
• Design and execute marketing initiatives, including resident referral programs, employer outreach, and online advertising on platforms such as Craigslist and Facebook.
• Utilize property management software (OneSite, Yardi, etc.) to track availability, record traffic, manage prospect and resident data, and capture demographic information.
• Ensure show units meet company standards through daily inspections and coordination with the maintenance team.

Required profile

• Strong customer‑service orientation with ability to greet, qualify and guide prospects through the leasing process.
• Excellent communication skills for conducting tours, presenting community features and explaining lease terms.
• Detail‑oriented approach to processing applications, performing credit and background checks, and preparing lease documentation.
• Ability to stay informed about local market conditions and adjust marketing strategies accordingly.
• Proactive mindset for creating and managing marketing campaigns and referral programs.
• Comfortable using property management software to manage data and generate reports.
