Community Manager (Lease Up) – Student Living

About the role

Greystar is seeking a Community Manager to lead the lease‑up phase of a new student‑living community in Phoenix. The role oversees daily operations, financial performance, and compliance while building strong relationships with residents and university partners.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing property budgets by analyzing financial statements and market data.
• Achieve revenue targets by setting rent rates, collecting payments, and preparing monthly financial reports.
• Approve vendor invoices, verify insurance certificates, and ensure proper coding to the chart of accounts.
• Manage expenditures within approved budgets and maintain the petty‑cash fund.
• Oversee lease enforcement, including application approvals, renewals, inspections, evictions, and collection of late fees.
• Establish relationships with housing and student‑affairs offices to support resident engagement.

Required profile

• Available to start September 2026 for a 2027 lease‑up community.
• Experience in multifamily property management or student‑housing operations.
• Strong understanding of Fair Housing, ADA, and related regulatory requirements.
• Proven ability to manage budgets, financial reporting, and vendor relationships.
