Community Manager for MapleStory Classic World

About the role

Nexon America is seeking a proactive Community Manager to support the MapleStory Classic World. In this role you will translate community signals into actionable insights, lead engagement programs, and act as a visible ambassador for players across in‑game and external channels.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and report on player sentiment, feedback, and emerging issues across priority community channels.
• Provide actionable recommendations, assess issue severity, and guide escalations to support internal decision‑making.
• Maintain a consistent presence with players, manage the Volunteer Moderator program, answer questions, and foster a healthy community environment.
• Develop and execute community strategies that grow participation and strengthen engagement.
• Lead creation and delivery of community‑facing content such as update previews, patch notes, assets, events, livestreams, videos, and web posts.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to validate information, align priorities, and coordinate timely responses.

Required profile

• Highly organized and proactive with strong judgment in player‑facing communication.
• Ability to handle sensitive or fast‑moving situations and provide practical recommendations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams and managing community programs.
