Community Development Manager

About the role

The Community Development Manager is a full‑time, remote position responsible for building, nurturing, and expanding an engaged proptech‑focused community around PropTechBuzz.com.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement community engagement initiatives such as online forums, webinars, and social media interactions.
• Communicate with community members, respond to inquiries, and create engagement content.
• Coordinate volunteer or ambassador programs and track community metrics to improve participation and retention.
• Collaborate with marketing and business development teams to support broader economic and community growth objectives.

Required profile

• Strong experience in community engagement and development, growing online or industry‑focused communities.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for stakeholder interaction across digital channels.
• Experience in volunteer management, organizing and supporting volunteers or ambassadors.
• Understanding of economic development principles, preferably within technology, real estate, or proptech ecosystems.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, business, urban studies or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
