Communications Specialist – Enrollment Management (Remote)

About the role

The University of Miami Division of Enrollment Management is seeking a full‑time Communications Specialist to coordinate the planning, production, and delivery of communications across enrollment management. This remote position ensures accuracy, consistency, and timely execution of all messaging.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and implementing an annual communications and marketing plan in collaboration with Financial Aid and the Registrar.
• Oversee communication deployment through the Slate CRM system, including setup, configuration, testing, and delivery.
• Maintain a comprehensive list of all communications, tracking delivery methods, timelines, drafts, and related forms.
• Manage communications calendars, update timelines, and keep stakeholders informed to avoid delays.
• Coordinate the review process for financial aid letters and other official materials.
• Review digital assets and website content for accuracy, consistency, accessibility, and alignment with institutional standards.
• Participate in the Slate community to identify best practices and workflow enhancements.
• Support the development of messaging strategies and communication campaigns.
• Analyze content performance and provide recommendations for improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• At least two years of relevant experience in higher‑education communications.
• Exceptional attention to detail with strong editing and proofreading abilities.
• Critical thinking skills and excellent written and oral communication.
• Self‑motivated and eager to learn new ideas and concepts.
