Communications Manager for Community Health Innovation

About the role

The Institute for Community Health Innovation (ICHI) seeks a Communications Manager to translate community health initiatives into compelling stories and strategic content across multiple platforms. Based in Springdale, AR, you will work closely with design and multimedia teams to amplify ICHI’s impact.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, develop, and publish engaging content highlighting ICHI’s research, programs, and community impact.
• Create multimedia storytelling—including written features, social media, podcasts, and video—turning data into accessible narratives.
• Collaborate with design staff to ensure brand‑consistent, accessible content.
• Develop and execute communications plans aligned with program goals, monitor outcomes, and refine strategies.
• Prepare reports and presentations for investigators, leadership, and external partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, journalism, or related field.
• At least five years of marketing, communications, or program‑management experience, preferably in community‑based or public‑interest settings.
• Strong storytelling ability with a portfolio of published work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Experience using social media management tools.
• Basic graphic and video editing, data visualization.
