Commercial Refrigeration Service Technician

About the role

Coolsys is seeking experienced Commercial Refrigeration Service Technicians to service a diverse customer base across retail, food service, and industrial markets. You will work on-site, diagnosing and repairing refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment to ensure reliable operation.

Key responsibilities

• Repair and overhaul compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and electrical/mechanical control devices.
• Perform preventative maintenance, diagnose equipment malfunctions, and test systems using electrical and mechanical skills.
• Process job tickets and work orders, maintain accurate service records, and support department logistics.
• Assist with minor construction, remodeling projects, and new equipment startups.

Required profile

• High school diploma/GED; EPA certification preferred.
• Minimum 3 + years of commercial refrigeration experience.
• Experience with convenience‑store or supermarket refrigeration, single and rack systems, display cases, and walk‑in units.
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and ability to lift 60 lb.
• Availability for emergency on‑call service.
