Commercial Door & Hardware Installer

About the role

The Commercial Door & Hardware Installer joins CASEY Construction Group to install, repair, and maintain a variety of commercial doors and hardware across the DC, Raleigh, and Richmond regions. The role demands technical expertise, attention to detail, and strong customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Install commercial doors—including metal, glass, wood, and automatic types—following instructions from field supervision and project managers.
• Mount frames, hinges, closers, panic hardware, locks, and handles, ensuring alignment, functionality, security, and compliance with building codes and ADA requirements.
• Perform repairs and routine maintenance, replace worn components, and conduct measurements to customize doors and hardware.
• Maintain detailed records of installations and repairs, track time and materials, and keep equipment in good working order.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience as a commercial door and hardware installer or in a similar role.
• Physical ability to lift and maneuver heavy doors and equipment.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work under field supervision.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hand and power tools used for door installation and maintenance.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of door and hardware schedules and local building codes.
