Collision/Refinishing Instructor

About the role

WyoTech is seeking an experienced Collision/Refinishing Instructor to join its full‑time faculty. The instructor will teach both classroom theory and hands‑on shop skills, preparing students for careers in automotive collision repair.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver engaging classroom and shop instruction using approved curriculum and lesson plans.
• Maintain a safe, professional learning environment that emphasizes teamwork, craftsmanship, and EPA compliance.
• Assess and record student grades, attendance, and progress in the CANVAS Learning Management System.
• Maintain and organize shop tools, equipment, and instructional materials.
• Participate in curriculum development, faculty meetings, registration, graduation, and professional‑development activities.
• Advise students on attendance, academic performance, professionalism, and career readiness.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years recent collision repair industry experience (or 5 years with an associate degree).
• Ability to meet state certification, regulatory, and accrediting body requirements.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for mentoring students.
• Commitment to workplace safety and professional shop standards.
