About the role
Prep Academy Tutors of Southern Maryland is seeking qualified tutors to support college students in a range of high‑demand subjects. This part‑time position offers flexible hours and the option to work both on‑site in the Howard University area and remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Provide one‑on‑one or small‑group tutoring sessions, either in person or online.
- Simplify complex concepts to improve student understanding.
- Assist students in exam preparation and assignment completion.
- Maintain professionalism, punctuality, and reliable communication.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
- Strong knowledge in at least one of the listed subjects.
- Prior tutoring or teaching experience is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and reliable transportation for in‑person sessions.
