College Recruitment Advisor – Guide High School Students

About the role

As a College Recruitment Advisor you will help high‑school students navigate the college admissions and financial‑aid process. You will serve as a trusted guide, providing personalized advice and creating timelines that keep students on track toward enrollment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one‑on‑one admissions and financial‑aid counseling to students and families.
• Develop individualized college application timelines, including deadlines for admissions and aid.
• Assist students in completing and submitting applications, scholarships, and financial‑aid forms.
• Coordinate and attend recruitment events, meetings, and school visits, often outside regular hours.
• Maintain accurate records and follow up on outstanding items throughout the application cycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree from an institution in Texas.
• No prior experience required; experience with high‑school students is a plus.
• Bilingual ability in English and Spanish preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer‑service skills.
• Self‑directed, able to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision.
