Co-Store Manager

About the role

The Home Depot is hiring a Co-Store Manager for its North Buffalo store. Co-Managers work side by side with the Store Manager to run the store every day, driving sales and profitability while upholding the company's core values. They lead a team of Associates, make sure the store is well stocked and merchandised, and deliver excellent customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Co-manage all aspects of store operation and profitability (about 25% of the role)
• Deliver outstanding customer service, resolve concerns quickly and help forecast scheduling needs (about 20%)
• Help recruit and hire, set starting pay and pay increases, and coach, train and develop Associates (about 20%)
• Keep products and displays merchandised effectively and walk the store with management on merchandising issues (about 15%)
• Develop store standards, mission, strategy and objectives, study competition and identify trends (about 10%)
• Other duties: ensure customer and associate safety, verify deposits, follow opening and closing procedures, sign petty cash, markdowns, time slips, refunds and price-change reports (about 10%)

Required profile

• Aged 18 or older and legally permitted to work in the United States
• High school diploma or GED
• 5 years of work experience preferred
• Flexible 55-hour-per-week schedule preferred
• Typical travel of less than 10% overnight; mostly sitting or standing, lifting moderate weight (8-20 pounds); indoor setting with possible exposure to dust, fumes, odors, noise or bright lights

Pay range for California, Colorado, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Nevada, New York City, Ithaca (NY), Westchester County (NY) and Washington residents: $98,000 - $120,500.
