About the role

This six‑month co‑op position at Philips in Murrysville, PA offers hands‑on experience supporting supplier quality activities for health‑technology products. You will work within a dynamic department, contributing to continuous‑improvement initiatives while building technical expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day departmental activities, including strategic, operational, and administrative tasks.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to influence processes that affect Philips’ med‑tech products.
• Conduct research on industry trends, best practices, and competitive landscape to inform projects.
• Analyze project data, identify trends, and deliver actionable recommendations.
• Prepare clear reports and presentations for internal and external audiences.
• Participate in team meetings, capture detailed minutes, and track action items.
• Organize and maintain departmental documentation, records, and files to ensure accessibility and compliance.
• Execute established processes with accuracy while exercising autonomy within defined procedures.

Required profile

• Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical abilities to review data, spot trends, and support decision‑making.
• Understanding of procedures with the ability to translate them into requirements and identify improvement opportunities.
• Curious, hands‑on problem‑solver who quickly learns technical and operational processes.
• Interest in process improvement, operational efficiency, and implementation of better tools and systems.
• Ability to organize information clearly and contribute to documentation, training content, and remediation activities.
