Health and Safety Engineer

About the role

Help improve the safety, health, and sustainability of our manufacturing environment by partnering with engineering teams to identify risks, implement proactive solutions, and drive a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with engineering teams and frontline employees to identify workplace hazards, conduct risk assessments, and implement practical solutions.
• Support environmental sustainability initiatives by identifying waste‑reduction and recycling opportunities.
• Conduct in‑person safety training, safety observations, internal audits, incident investigations, and trend analysis.
• Monitor compliance with health, safety, environmental regulations and ISO standards, maintain documentation and support KPI reporting.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, Occupational Safety, or related field (equivalent experience considered).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships across all organization levels.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented problem solver passionate about creating a safer, more sustainable workplace.

Required skills

What we offer

• Pay range $66,000 – $105,000 per year.
• Potential annual incentive bonus, long‑term incentives.
