CNO Reverse Engineer

About the role

MANTECH, a provider of technology solutions to government intelligence agencies since 1968, is hiring a CNO Reverse Engineer in Hanover, MD. The role contributes to mission-critical cyber capabilities and leads advanced Computer Network Operations (CNO) development within a team working on next-generation solutions that safeguard national security systems. The position is full time and onsite.

Key responsibilities

• Reverse engineer hardware components and software applications to design and develop new CNO software
• Author and take part in technical presentations on assigned projects
• Use tools such as IDA Pro, Ghidra and OllyDbg for hardware and software analysis
• Communicate project status to leadership and stakeholders

Required profile

• US citizenship and a current TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph, with ability to obtain another polygraph before starting if required
• High school diploma and 8+ years of related technical experience, or a bachelor's degree with 4+ years, or a master's degree with 2+ years of technical work experience
• At least 2 years of hardware or software reverse engineering experience (reduced to 1 year with a master's degree)
• Ability to stay in a stationary position at least 50% of the time

Required skills

• Hardware and software reverse engineering tools (IDA Pro, Ghidra, OllyDbg, WinDbg preferred)
• Software version control such as Subversion and/or Git
• Preferred: TCP/IP and socket-level programming, malware analysis, software forensics, continuous integration tools, Atlassian tools (Confluence, Jira, Crucible)

• Projected compensation range of $91,600 to $153,800 depending on experience, skills and location
