Principal Identity Solutions Engineer (TS/SCI Polygraph)

About the role

Leidos is hiring a Principal Identity Solutions Engineer in its INTEL SECTOR Cyber & Analytics Business Area (CABA) in Hanover. The engineer leads the design, implementation and sustainment of enterprise Identity, Credential and Access Management (ICAM) solutions focused on Secure Token Services (STS) and Single Sign-On (SSO), and leads a multidisciplinary team of developers, system integrators and system administrators. An active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, implementation and sustainment of enterprise STS and SSO solutions.
• Manage and mentor developers, system integrators and system administrators, including onboarding, training and technical oversight.
• Gather customer requirements, develop implementation strategies and estimate work effort for new capabilities and enhancements.
• Install, configure, integrate and maintain COTS identity management platforms across Linux, Windows and cloud environments.
• Design and support federation solutions using SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect (OIDC), PKI/TLS and modern authentication technologies.
• Develop automation solutions and integrate modern and legacy technologies, keeping technical documentation in Confluence.
• Troubleshoot complex authentication, networking and identity management issues while following SDLC and change management processes.

Required profile

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph (no exceptions).
• Bachelor's degree or higher in computer engineering or a related field.
• At least 15 years of systems engineering or related technical experience supporting enterprise IT environments.

Required skills

• Federation technologies, PKI, authentication protocols and enterprise security architectures.
• SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect (OIDC), PKI/TLS.
• COTS identity management platforms on Linux, Windows and cloud environments.
