Cloud Developer (Mid Level)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Developer to lead the design, development, and implementation of secure, scalable cloud solutions supporting enterprise‑level modernization. The role is based at Redstone Arsenal and requires an active Top Secret clearance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud service models (PaaS, IaaS, SaaS, DaaS) and architectural frameworks.
• Automate infrastructure and applications using DevSecOps tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop and migrate cloud‑native and hybrid applications.
• Analyze existing applications and recommend migration, deployment, or rehosting strategies.
• Provide guidance on cloud strategy, cost optimization, failover, and recovery plans.
• Debug cloud stack issues, manage policies, and evaluate emerging cloud technologies.
• Establish and maintain secure, compliant cloud environments with high performance and availability.
• Lead cloud governance standards and ensure security and data protection compliance.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, engineers, and architects to align solutions with business goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of software or cloud development/architecture experience.
• Active Top Secret clearance.
• Proven experience with major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Strong knowledge of containerization, infrastructure‑as‑code, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with cloud security best practices and secure environment management.
