Mid-Level DevOps Engineer – Secure Infrastructure

About the role

Cintel is looking for a mid‑level DevOps Engineer to design, deploy, test, certify, operate and maintain DevSecOps infrastructure in a secure environment at Redstone Arsenal.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, test, certify, operate, patch and maintain Linux‑based DevSecOps infrastructure, including OS, libraries, and application dependencies.
• Develop Python scripts and utilities to support cybersecurity automation and operational requirements.
• Manage source control and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub, and automate deployments with Kubernetes and Ansible.
• Configure and maintain Linux servers, IaaS services, and open‑source monitoring tools such as Splunk, Grafana, Cribl, and Power BI.
• Work in an Agile/DevSecOps environment, handling backlog, sprint planning and iterative delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Cybersecurity or related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in Linux administration and cybersecurity infrastructure.
• Active Top‑Secret security clearance.
• Proven ability to work in Agile/DevSecOps teams.
