Clinical Technician – Neurological Institute

About the role

The Cleveland Clinic Neurological Institute is expanding its state‑of‑the‑art facility and is seeking Clinical Technicians to support patient care across various shifts. You will work directly with patients, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment while assisting the nursing team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide basic patient care under RN supervision, including vital signs, weight, personal care, and point‑of‑care testing.
• Perform dressing changes, apply external monitoring devices, and remove urinary Foley catheters.
• Report abnormal findings or changes in patients’ physical, mental, or emotional conditions to an RN.
• Maintain clean, organized patient rooms and adhere to standard precautions with personal protective equipment.

Required profile

• High School Diploma/GED.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (required within the new‑hire period).
• At least one year of recent, full‑time patient‑care experience (or equivalent military medical experience or recent nursing clinical rotation).
• Ability to perform medium physical work, including lifting and moving patients.

Required skills
