About the role

The Neuro ICU at Cleveland Clinic’s Main Campus provides world‑class care to complex neurological patients. As a Clinical Technician you will support patient care, maintain a safe environment, and work closely with the nursing team on a rotating day/night schedule.

Key responsibilities

  • Take vital signs, weight, and assist with point‑of‑care testing under RN supervision.
  • Provide personal care, dressing changes, apply external monitoring devices, and remove urinary Foley catheters.
  • Report any abnormal physical, mental, or emotional findings to the RN promptly.
  • Keep patient rooms clean, orderly, and ensure a safe environment.

Required profile

  • High School Diploma/GED.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or Red Cross) obtained within the new‑hire period.
  • At least one year of recent full‑time patient‑care experience (or equivalent military medical experience).
  • Ability to lift and move patients, stand and walk for extended periods.

Required skills

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Manual patient handling and ability to use standard medical equipment safely.
