Clinical Supervisor

About the role

Families and Youth Innovations Plus (FYI+) is seeking an independently licensed clinician to serve as Clinical Supervisor at its Solano location. The position reports to the Clinical Manager of Outpatient Services and combines two responsibilities: consistent clinical supervision of staff and interns, and a case load. It ensures quality of care, documentation compliance and clinical integrity across the Outpatient Program.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one clinical supervision of non-independently licensed clinicians and interns, and oversee documentation
• Ensure adherence to clinical standards, agency policies and regulatory requirements
• Give clinical guidance and consultation to all clinically oriented staff
• Maintain a caseload of direct client services and provide therapy and related services aligned with agency and contract standards
• Keep client records timely and accurate in the EHR system and ensure continuity of care for participants

Required profile

• Current New Mexico state license in good standing and board verified (LPCC, LMFT or LCSW)
• Independent licensure in New Mexico (LISW, LPCC, LMFT or Licensed Psychologist)
• Master's degree or higher in counseling, social work, marriage and family therapy, psychology or a related field
• Board-approved supervisor status preferred, or willingness to obtain it

Required skills

• Advanced knowledge of ethics, evidence-based therapeutic practices and mental health treatment
• Knowledge of mental illness, trauma-informed care and DEI-centered service delivery
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems
• Team collaboration, coaching and supervision skills
