Clinical Specialist, Enabling Technologies

About the role

Stryker is hiring a Clinical Specialist for its Enabling Technologies business in Loma Linda, California. This is a field-based position providing clinical product support to hospital staff and on-site guidance during surgical procedures, with about 30% travel.

Key responsibilities

• Train surgeons and operating room staff and give clinical and technical support on the use of navigation technologies, associated equipment and instruments to ensure procedural efficiency.
• Use proprietary software to prepare pre-operative scans for the Enabling Technologies system, helping surgeons with preoperative planning and intra-operative guidance.
• Provide prompt and accurate complaint reports according to the quality system requirements.
• Provide case coverage at accounts and support the development and execution of the sales plan, growing the use of navigation technologies with current and potential surgeons.
• Promote the clinical benefits of the products and build strong relationships with key surgeons and OR staff at targeted accounts.
• Collaborate with Sales Representatives and Marketing on product performance communication.
• Obtain purchase orders for products used during procedures and maintain and track case coverage purchase orders for services provided.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or 6+ years of clinical experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and up to 20 pounds constantly to move objects.
• Willingness to handle instruments that may have been contaminated by blood or other bodily fluids; possible off-hours, weekends and holidays.
• Sales and/or marketing experience preferred.

Pay range for the United States: $70,304 - $91,600 per year.
