Clinical Research Coordinator, On-Site, Kansas City

About the role

Avacare, a Site Management Organization (SMO) run by IQVIA, is hiring an on-site Clinical Research Coordinator in Kansas City, Missouri. CRCs at Avacare work across several trials, from patient recruitment and informed consent through regulatory documentation and site audits, and prepare for future roles in clinical operations and monitoring.

Key responsibilities

• Manage 2 to 6 trials of varying complexity and lead study coordination from start to finish
• Perform clinical procedures and obtain informed consent
• Work closely with investigators, sponsors and monitors
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to internal training

Required profile

• CRC I: at least 1 to 3 years of clinical research experience at a clinical investigative site working with participants
• CRC II: at least 3 years as a Clinical Research Coordinator at a clinical investigative site
• Solid understanding of site operations and the drug development process
• Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail and time management

Required skills

• Hands-on experience obtaining vital signs, performing phlebotomy, conducting ECGs and processing lab specimens
• Comfort with CTMS, eCRFs and Microsoft Office tools

The potential base pay range, annualized, is $37,800 to $94,500, depending on qualifications, location and schedule. Incentive plans, bonuses and other benefits may also apply.
