Clinical Pharmacist - Inpatient, PRN

About the role

The Clinical Pharmacist – Inpatient role supports the Internal Medicine service line at Cleveland Clinic South Pointe Hospital. Working as a decentralized pharmacist, you will collaborate with the care team to optimize medication therapy for hospitalized patients.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and provide medication management support for inpatient units.
• Verify medication orders and dispense medications accurately in compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Document services promptly and ensure pharmacy operations meet national accreditation standards.
• Assist with centralized pharmacy operations as needed to maintain continuity of medication distribution.

Required profile

• PharmD or Bachelor’s of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited college.
• Current state licensure as a Registered Pharmacist (RPh) or eligibility for reciprocity within 90 days of hire.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and immunization administration certification within 90 days of hire.
