Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor & Director of Clinical Education

About the role

Tarleton State University seeks a Clinical Assistant/Associate Professor & Director of Clinical Education for its Master of Medical Science Physician Assistant Medicine program. This 12‑month, non‑tenure‑track appointment will be based on the main campus in Stephenville, Texas, and involves both on‑site and online teaching responsibilities.

Key responsibilities

• Teach and mentor students in the Physician Assistant curriculum.
• Oversee and coordinate all clinical education activities, including site placements and supervision.
• Develop and update curriculum materials to align with accreditation standards.
• Engage in scholarly activities, research, and service to the university community.
• Collaborate with faculty across campuses and support online program delivery.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in a health‑related field appropriate for a faculty position.
• Experience in clinical education and physician assistant training.
