Clinic Manager

About the role

The Clinic Manager leads day‑to‑day administrative and operational functions for the Colusa Indian Health Clinic, ensuring efficient operations, high‑quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and strong financial performance across multiple specialties.

Key responsibilities

• Direct internal practice operations, set benchmarks, track progress, and implement process improvements.
• Oversee front‑end billing, co‑pay collection, and coordinate with medical coders for timely insurance claims.
• Hire, train, onboard, and evaluate non‑clinical staff such as receptionists and billing personnel.
• Monitor compliance with state regulations, clinic policies, and quality standards.
• Manage vendor relationships, procure office supplies, and ensure clinic facilities are clean, secure, and well‑maintained.
• Collaborate with the Director of Clinic Operations on budget development, financial reporting, and cost‑effective staffing.

Required profile

• Minimum five (5) years of experience managing clinical staff in an outpatient or tribal health clinic.
• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business administration, or a related regulated field (preferred).
• Current and valid CPR/First Aid certification.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
