Clinic Director – Adolescent Mental Health

About the role

Adolescent Wellness Academy is launching its first North Carolina clinic and needs a clinical leader to build the program from the ground up. You will hire, train, and supervise a team that provides PHP and IOP mental health care for teens aged 13‑17 and their families.

Key responsibilities

• Hire, train and develop a team of 5‑10 clinicians and support staff.
• Supervise clinicians, provide clinical supervision and mentorship.
• Lead treatment quality, crisis response, and level‑of‑care decisions.
• Build partnerships with families and referral sources across North Carolina.
• Maintain documentation, accreditation and compliance with Joint Commission standards.

Required profile

• Independent NC clinical license (LCMHC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent) with a clinical master’s degree.
• At least 5 years of clinical supervision experience in behavioral health.
• Qualified Supervisor designation preferred to supervise associate clinicians.
• Experience with adolescent PHP/IOP programs or launching similar services is a plus.

What we offer

• Base salary $90,000 – $100,000 per year plus yearly bonus incentives.
• Full‑time, on‑site schedule (12 PM – 8 PM) in Mooresville, NC.
