Client Technologies Analyst II – Audio/Video

About the role

The Client Technologies Analyst II – Audio/Video provides technical support for complex IT and networked AV equipment at Texas A&M University‑San Antonio. Working under general supervision, you will ensure reliable operation, maintenance, monitoring, testing and repair of AV control systems for educational, conferencing and event content.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain, configure, secure and monitor devices throughout their lifecycle using advanced software tools.
• Utilize Group Policy to enforce system security and support data protection and recovery.
• Oversee delivery and troubleshooting of AV content for classrooms, conferences and university events.
• Coordinate schedulers and technicians to set up AV hardware and software for events.
• Track equipment repair work orders, maintain detailed service records, and manage inventory.
• Respond to support tickets via phone, email, remote tools or on‑site assistance.
• Research, test and document new AV technologies and software.
• Assist in training student workers and field services team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• At least three years of experience with computing, audio/video communications, presentation technologies and system troubleshooting.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and the capacity to follow issues through to resolution.
