Client Specialist - Part Time

About the role

Talbots, an omni-channel retailer of women's clothing, shoes and accessories, is hiring a Client Specialist for its Nashville store. The role focuses on building lasting relationships with customers and driving new traffic into the store, with availability of 20 to 29 hours per week and a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.

Key responsibilities

• Create and foster a culture of hospitality through exceptional customer experiences and build lasting internal and external relationships.
• Support service enhancers, including the active use of the Concierge.
• Achieve sales and service metrics such as Clienteling/Outreach, Appointment Setting and Talbots Classic Awards.
• Understand customer needs through intentional conversation and share current products and fashion trends to help customers choose their wardrobe.
• Plan and prioritize tasks to meet customer and business needs, and actively take part in community and store events.
• Represent the brand professionally and assertively.

Required profile

• Open availability of 20 to 29 hours per week; able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Comfortable climbing ladders, standing for long periods and lifting, carrying and moving at least 40 lbs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, planning and organizational skills, and the ability to make decisions independently.
• Technological aptitude to use POS, computers, iPads and handheld systems.
