Client Services Director, Medical & Scientific Communications

About the role

Simpson Healthcare, an IQVIA company, is an established scientific agency serving the life sciences industry for over 20 years. It is looking for a Client Services Director to support new and ongoing client relationships. The role optimizes the customer relationship with specific clients and bridges the many internal and external departments involved in a project, covering project and account management, client relations and brand management. This is a home-based position open only to candidates living in the same country as the job.

Key responsibilities

• Manage assigned projects and accounts, coordinating digital and interactive content, validating scientific accuracy with content experts, and meeting goals and timelines
• Prepare and deliver client presentations and synthesize client feedback for the project team
• Plan accounts long term, including timelines, quality assurance, SOP adherence, budget monitoring and faculty recruitment and engagement
• Supervise and train junior staff, manage training and development and attend internal meetings as assigned
• Maintain regular contact with clients, plan client update meetings and agendas, and track opportunities, milestones and support needs
• Collaborate with Scientific Services, Interactive/Graphics and Marketing, and represent the Simpson brand in all client interactions

Required profile

• 3+ years of related experience in the pharmaceutical industry or a healthcare/life sciences agency
• 1+ year in a pharmaceutical/healthcare promotional role preferred
• Bachelor's or Master's degree, preferably in Marketing, Business or Science
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time to meet stakeholders

• Organization, time management and project management skills
• Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word)
• Veeva highly preferred; Basecamp or similar project management tools preferred

The potential base pay range is $61,200 to $153,000 per year, depending on qualifications, location and schedule; incentives, bonuses and benefits may also apply.
