Client Relations Specialist II

About the role

HIS Envoys Group, a faith-driven financial firm offering investment, retirement and financial consulting, is hiring a Client Relations Specialist II in Colorado Springs, CO or Oakbrook Terrace, IL. The role sits in the Client Relations team, reports to the Client Relations Manager and is fully in-person. It supports retirement plan participants and sponsors with complex service issues, drives process improvements and mentors peer team members.

Key responsibilities

• Resolve escalated or complex service issues independently, with timely, accurate and compliant outcomes.
• Support plan sponsors with advanced reporting, plan changes and specialized account inquiries.
• Interpret ERISA, IRS and DOL regulations and act as a resource for junior team members.
• Mentor Client Relations Specialist I staff on service standards and onboarding.
• Lead process improvements and take part in departmental projects and audits.
• Coordinate workflows across Advisory, Compliance and Operations, and liaise with recordkeepers and payroll providers.
• Review and deliver custom reports for plan sponsors with complex plans, and suggest improvements.
• Maintain CRM records in Salesforce and deliver plan updates and client education.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED; college coursework or degree preferred.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in financial services, retirement plan administration or client service.
• Ability to resolve complex service issues independently and interpret plan rules.
• Proven ability to mentor peers and manage multiple priorities.
• Preferred: college degree, ASPPA certifications, progress toward financial licensure (e.g. Series 65), and experience with nonprofit or faith-driven organizations.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of 401(k), 403(b) and ERISA regulations.
• Microsoft Office Suite and Salesforce (or a similar CRM).
