Client Experience Associate, Advisor Dedicated

About the role

Farther is a rapidly growing RIA combining expert advisors with technology, offering a tailored wealth management experience. This is a high-trust, high-autonomy role that gives an advisor a dedicated right hand: you will be the single point of continuity for a boutique advisory practice, owning the full client service lifecycle except the client meetings themselves. It is not a stepping stone to becoming an advisor or people manager, nor a sales or prospecting role.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day client needs, monitoring the advisor's email and voicemail daily and responding professionally and clearly
• Facilitate money movements, distributions, trades and rebalancing, escalating when tax or planning judgment is needed
• Proactively monitor custodian alerts and action items (including NIGOs and money movement issues) and drive them to resolution
• Own meeting preparation and follow-up, keeping meeting planners up to date
• Coordinate paperwork and workflows across custodian platforms, DocuSign or paper processes, depending on client preference
• Make sure Required Minimum Distributions and other deadline-driven items are completed well ahead of schedule
• Handle the majority of client matters independently while the advisor is out of the office

Required profile

• 4+ years of client-facing experience in wealth management, including ownership of the full client lifecycle in a boutique or independent advisory practice
• Strong communication skills and calm judgment under pressure
• Highly organized, with attention to detail and follow-through
• Comfortable working autonomously and making day-to-day judgment calls
• Genuinely looking for a long-term home in this seat

Required skills

• Experience with custodial platforms, trading and rebalancing tools, and CRM systems
• Bonus: hands-on experience with tools such as 55ip, Ramp or similar portfolio, trading or expense platforms
