Clerk, Logistics & Trade Compliance

About the role

The Clerk, Logistics & Trade Compliance supports the efficient movement of goods while ensuring compliance with local, national, and international export regulations. You will process shipments, maintain documentation, and act as a liaison between internal teams and external partners.

Key responsibilities

• Enter and track shipments, schedule carrier pick‑ups, and monitor delivery status.
• Maintain logs of shipping documents, freight quotes, rates, and claims.
• Prepare and audit export documentation, ensuring correct HTS classifications, country of origin, and pricing.
• Coordinate export shipments with customers, suppliers, and freight forwarders to achieve on‑time, in‑full delivery.
• Develop, maintain, and audit hard‑copy export files and assist with global logistics metrics.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.
• Minimum three years of clerical or administrative assistance experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational ability, attention to detail, and ability to multitask independently.
• Friendly and helpful phone demeanor.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
