About the role
The Classroom Technology Support Technician provides frontline, hands‑on assistance for classroom audiovisual and computer equipment across multiple university facilities. The role is ideal for current University of Arkansas students who are reliable, tech‑savvy, and comfortable working in live classroom environments.
Key responsibilities
- Respond promptly to in‑class technology issues during scheduled hours.
- Troubleshoot common classroom equipment such as projectors, microphones, display systems and classroom PCs.
- Assist instructors with operating AV or computing equipment and perform basic pre‑class checks.
- Document incidents and support activities using the provided reporting tools.
- Provide front‑office reception support and assist faculty with computer setup and troubleshooting.
Required profile
- Currently enrolled at the University of Arkansas, Fayetteville.
- Comfortable entering active classrooms and providing real‑time support.
- Reliable, punctual, professional demeanor with strong communication skills.
- Ability to learn new technical knowledge quickly through training.
