Class A Linehaul Truck Driver – Home Daily

About the role

R+L Carriers is seeking Class A Linehaul Truck Drivers to pull van trailers up to 53' or double trailers between service centers and turn‑point locations. Drivers return home daily and enjoy immediate paid time off, a sign‑on bonus, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Key responsibilities

• Operate van or double trailers on linehaul routes between company service centers.
• Maintain safe equipment operation and compliance with DOT regulations.
• Ensure a clean driving record and adhere to company policies.
• Handle LTL freight as required.

Required profile

• Valid CDL Class A license.
• At least 1 year of verifiable Class A driving experience within the past 3 years.
• Good driving record (no serious violations, max 3 moving violations in 3 years).
• Age 23 (or 21 if meeting FMCSA military transition specs).
• Ability to pass pre‑employment DOT physical, drug screen, and road test.
• Physical ability to bend, lift, and stoop without difficulty.
• Dependable and able to operate equipment safely at all times.
• Preferred: experience with doubles/triples, tanker or haz‑mat endorsements, haz‑mat hauling, or LTL freight.

Required skills

• CDL Class A certification.
• Operation of van trailers up to 53' and double trailers.
• Knowledge of DOT safety regulations.
• Hazmat endorsement (preferred).
• Tanker endorsement (preferred).
