Class A Hazmat Driver – Milford, UT

About the role

CTI is seeking experienced Class A Hazmat drivers to load, transport, and deliver hazardous materials such as sulfuric acid and ammonium nitrate to mines and aggregate sites across Arizona, New Mexico, and Utah. The position is based at the Milford, UT terminal and follows strict safety, MSHA, and FMCSA regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Operate pneumatic and tanker trailers to deliver hazardous chemicals to designated mine sites.
• Perform thorough pre‑ and post‑trip inspections and adhere to all safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate logs and comply with FMCSA hours‑of‑service rules.

Required profile

• Valid Class A CDL with HAZMAT and Tank endorsements.
• At least 23 years of age and a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years, no major violations in the past 5 years).
• Minimum 1 year of tractor‑trailer experience (may consider less with training).
• Valid DOT physical and ability to pass pre‑employment drug and controlled‑substance tests.

Required skills

• Operation of manual 10‑speed transmission (preferred).
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 70 lb and climb ladders to 14 ft.
• Proficiency in using personal protective equipment, including full‑face respirator and steel‑toe boots.
