Class A CDL HAZMAT Driver – Laveen, AZ

About the role

CTI is seeking experienced Class A CDL drivers with a HAZMAT endorsement to transport copper concentrate and other materials to mines and aggregate sites across Arizona, New Mexico, and Utah. The position offers local and regional routes with a focus on safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Load, transport, and deliver products using live‑bottom, end‑dump, or container trailers.
• Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections and adhere to FMCSA, MSHA, and company safety protocols.
• Operate manual 10‑speed trucks when required and handle trailer hatches and bottom doors.

Required profile

• Valid Class A CDL with HAZMAT endorsement (tank or double/triple preferred).
• At least 23 years old with a minimum of one year tractor‑trailer experience.
• Clean driving record (no more than two moving violations in the past three years and no major violations in five years).
• Valid DOT physical and authorized access to mine sites.

Required skills

• Operation of manual 10‑speed transmission.
• Knowledge of FMCSA hours‑of‑service regulations.
• Ability to use personal protective equipment, including half‑face respirator.
