Class A CDL Driver – Deming, NM

About the role

CTI is hiring non‑hazmat Class A drivers to load, transport, and deliver bulk products such as cement, lime, and fly ash in pneumatic trailers to mines and aggregate sites across Arizona, New Mexico, and Utah.

Key responsibilities

• Operate a Class A combination vehicle in compliance with FMCSA and DOT regulations.
• Perform pre‑ and post‑trip inspections and ensure safe loading and unloading of bulk materials.
• Travel on local and regional routes, occasionally staying overnight with short notice.
• Maintain required personal protective equipment and follow strict safety protocols on mine sites.

Required profile

• Valid Class A CDL (no endorsements required; double/triple preferred).
• At least 23 years of age with a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the past 3 years, no major violations in the past 5 years).
• Minimum 1 year of tractor‑trailer experience (less may be considered with extended training).
• Valid DOT physical, authorized mine‑site access, and ability to pass road‑test and controlled‑substance pre‑employment tests.

Required skills

• Class A CDL qualification.
• Understanding of DOT, MSHA, and FMCSA regulations.
• Ability to operate a manual 10‑speed transmission (preferred).
• Physical ability to lift/carry up to 70 lb, climb ladders, and work at heights up to 14 ft.
