Claims Specialist – Energy Capital

About the role

The Claims Specialist for Energy Capital will own the end‑to‑end customer claims handling process for Energy Capital customers, working closely with customers, partners and internal teams to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Register and manage customer claims in Alfa Laval’s global claims system (ACT) and open claim orders in the One4AL order fulfilment system.
• Create, execute and track remedial actions, material return actions and field service activities, ensuring costs are accounted for and customers are satisfied.
• Collaborate with suppliers, service centres, logistics, and field service coordinators to coordinate pickups, deliveries and on‑site repairs.
• Analyse claim trends, identify root causes and drive corrective and preventive actions with quality, sales and BU claims coordinators.

Required profile

• Experience working with claims and order‑fulfilment systems.
• Strong written and oral communication skills and a commitment to outstanding customer service.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fluctuating workload and demonstrate sound business judgment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Alfa Laval’s ACT claims system.
• Proficiency with the One4AL order fulfilment system.
• Knowledge of logistics coordination and material handling processes.

• Base salary typically $60,000‑$75,000 per year.
