Assembler I – CUG 2nd Shift

About the role

Join Alfa Laval as an Assembler I on the 2nd shift (2:00 PM – 10:30 PM) to assemble gasket plate heat exchangers. You will work with tools, blueprints and standard operating procedures to produce high‑quality components in a fast‑growing, resource‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform quality checks and inspect work for defects, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Complete production forms, reports and record assembly data.
• Follow daily work assignments, report any deviations and participate in status board meetings.
• Identify waste and drive Kaizen improvements, maintain 5S standards and suggest SOP enhancements.
• Lift raw materials, finished products and packed items manually or with lifts.

Required profile

• Reliability and willingness to work the designated 2nd shift schedule.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions, blueprints and SOPs.
• Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Reading and interpreting diagrams/blueprints.
• Basic hand‑tool operation and manual material handling.
