Claims Receipt Processor

About the role
The Claims Receipt Processor ensures timely and accurate reimbursements of receipts submitted by members. The role requires strong phone and email communication skills to explain coverage clearly.
Key responsibilities
- Review receipt submissions for required information and determine reimbursability.
- Reach out to providers, pharmacies, and members to obtain additional information.
- Enter necessary data to create a claim and maintain expected turnaround times.
- Explain coverage determinations to members while maintaining a pleasant demeanor.
- Perform other clerical tasks and demonstrate consistent attendance and punctuality.
Required profile
- At least 2 years of experience in customer service, reimbursement processing, or data entry.
- High school diploma or GED required.
Required skills
- Proficient in MS Office.
- Familiarity with medical billing language, Medicare guidelines, or workers’ compensation.
