Claims Handler – Property

About the role

ClaimSorted is looking for a Property Claims Handler to join its fast‑growing team in Dallas. This position offers the chance to manage claims from first notice through settlement while developing the skills needed to become a future claims leader.

Key responsibilities

• Handle property claims end‑to‑end, from notification of loss to final settlement.
• Communicate with policyholders throughout the claims journey, ensuring a clear and positive experience.
• Review documentation, verify coverage, assess liability, and set appropriate reserves.
• Identify potential fraud indicators and escalate when necessary.
• Maintain accurate claims records for audit and compliance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by flagging process inefficiencies.

Required profile

• Based in or willing to relocate to Dallas, TX with legal work authorization.
• Minimum 6 months of property claims experience (buildings, contents, renters, commercial, or personal property).
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize independently.
• Data‑driven decision‑making mindset.
• Team‑oriented, hardworking, and ambitious attitude.
• Experience leading, mentoring, or coaching others is a plus.
• Startup or high‑growth environment experience is a plus.
