Auto Claims Handler – Bodily Injury

About the role

ClaimSorted is looking for an experienced Auto Claims Handler focused on bodily injury to join its fast‑growing team in Dallas. You will work directly with policyholders and internal partners to manage claims from the first notification through settlement, leveraging the company’s AI‑native platform to deliver faster, fairer outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Handle claims end‑to‑end from first notification of loss to final settlement.
• Communicate with policyholders throughout the claims journey, including inbound phone calls.
• Review documentation, verify coverage, assess liability and set appropriate reserves.
• Identify potential fraud indicators and escalate appropriately.
• Maintain accurate and thorough claims records for audit and compliance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement by flagging process inefficiencies.

Required profile

• 5+ years of auto bodily injury claims experience (total loss experience preferred).
• Willingness to work onsite in Dallas, TX with proper work authorization.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize independently.
• Data‑driven decision‑making ability.
• Team‑oriented, ambitious and hardworking.
• Experience mentoring or coaching others is a plus.
• Background in a startup or high‑growth environment is a plus.
