Chip Truck Driver

About the role

The Chip Truck Driver is responsible for safely transporting wood residual fiber products across Washington and Idaho. The role involves vehicle inspections, loading and unloading, securing loads, and maintaining electronic logs while adhering to company, customer, and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct pre‑ and post‑trip inspections to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Load and unload wood residual fiber products safely and efficiently.
• Secure freight during transport and use manual or auto tarps as needed.
• Chain‑up the vehicle based on road conditions.
• Complete electronic records of hours, vehicle status, and maintenance using the ISAAC fleet management system.
• Keep trucks clean and safe at the end of each shift.

Required profile

• Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• At least 2 years of trucking experience (preferred).
• Winter mountain driving experience (preferred).
• Clean driver’s abstract.
• Pass pre‑employment DOT drug & alcohol testing.
• Ability to enter Canada for work purposes.
