About the role

The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) is seeking a Child Development Technician to support pediatric programs in Searcy, AR. This full‑time, onsite position works within the COM | Peds Kids First department, contributing to the care and development of children receiving services at UAMS.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the implementation of child development assessments and therapeutic activities.
• Maintain accurate records of observations, interventions, and progress notes.
• Prepare and organize materials and equipment for developmental sessions.
• Collaborate with clinicians, therapists, and families to ensure consistent care plans.
• Support data collection for research and quality‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant coursework in child development or early childhood education preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work with young children and families in a clinical setting.
