Child Development Technician – Kids First (Searcy)

About the role

The Child Development Technician supports the Kids First program in Searcy, providing direct assistance to children and families within a pediatric research and clinical environment. This position works closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate setting.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in daily activities and developmental interventions for children enrolled in the Kids First program.
• Monitor and record child progress, behavior, and health observations.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and child‑friendly environment in compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with clinicians, researchers, and educators to implement program protocols.
• Provide support to families, answering questions and facilitating communication with the care team.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant coursework or experience in child development preferred.
• Ability to work with young children in a clinical or research setting.
• Strong observational and documentation skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Required skills
