Chief of Staff (AI-Enabled CEO Operations Partner)

About the role

Ajaia, an AI consultancy and product studio, is hiring a Chief of Staff for its client. The role increases the CEO's decision velocity, execution throughput and organizational leverage by creating visibility, accountability and operational excellence across initiatives. It acts as the central coordination point across multiple companies, initiatives, leadership teams, strategic projects and external stakeholders, using AI in daily workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Manage enterprise-level initiatives across business units and companies, track milestones and deliverables, and unblock stalled work
• Own the CEO's operating dashboard, executive reporting frameworks, roadmaps and execution trackers
• Prepare executive briefings and decision memos, synthesize stakeholder information and surface risks and trade-offs
• Coordinate communication between executive and leadership teams, document decisions and support strategic planning and quarterly reviews
• Set and monitor KPIs, run dashboards and report on initiative performance
• Use AI to turn meetings into tasks, improve reporting and documentation, and evaluate automation opportunities
• Support the CEO during travel and events, capturing commitments and follow-ups with investors, partners and executives

Required profile

• Experience managing multiple complex projects at once and strong organizational and project management skills
• Ability to work in ambiguity, with strong business judgment and analytical mindset
• Preferred: previous Chief of Staff, Strategy Manager, Operations Lead, Program Manager, Management Consultant, Founder or Senior Operator experience
• Preferred: direct experience with founders, CEOs or executive teams, and familiarity with AI tools and workflow automation

Required skills

• Proficiency with modern productivity and collaboration tools
• Preferred: Notion, ClickUp, Coda, Airtable, Asana, Monday.com or similar

Compensation depends on experience, portfolio strength and performance during the hiring process.
